Sequence

Foot Up and Down (galley out)
Chorus
Half Hands (with "French door" arm motions)
Chorus
Back to Back (with "French door" arm motions)
Chorus

Final chorus

Chorus

(a variation on Balance the Straw)

Dib, dib, strike forehand, strike backhand
Dib, dib, Toss/Catch, strike backhand

The toss is right hand throw DIRECTLY ACROSS THE SET TO YOUR PARTNER'S LEFT SHOULDER. After tossing, reach across your body, catch with right hand, and strike partner's stick backhand, letting the momentum pull you into a Half Hey (depending on your position in the set). If you are the dancer who catches the stick with your trailing hand, lead vigorously with your (stickless) fist.

Repeat sticking and Half Hey back to place.

Last half of Final Chorus, music stops. Dancers and musicians sing:

Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda,
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me
so that the backhand strike is the end-of-phrase punctuation, leading into the final half hey, which ends with 4 HUGE plain capers, hankies down and up.

It is recommended when dancing this out en masse to arrange your sets so that the "French door" rise at the midpoints of the Half Hands and Back to Back can be an interaction with the neighbors.

The tune is the ordinary one, no odd timings except for the pause in the chorus to wait for the dancer's catch.
